About the Role
Cardiothoracic theatres are looking for theatre practitioners from both a nursing and ODP background to join their expanding award winning team. Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced you will be given the support and training to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the role. Often in challenging circumstances, you will work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, perfusionists and other clinical staff to put what you have learnt into practice. You will be a valued member of the team, making a real difference to people’s lives in their hour of need. If you are dedicated, honest and reliable and want to be part of a supportive working team then we are looking for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, perfusionists and other clinical staff.
* Assist across the three distinctive areas of care: scrub, anaesthetics and recovery.
* Advocate for patient safety as the patient’s advocate throughout their journey in theatre.
* Speak up for patients and express concerns when needed.
