Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day glasshouse operations, including nursery plant handling and care
* Lead and support staff during order picking and packing processes
* Use handheld scanner guns to pick, track, and verify orders accurately
* Monitor plant quality, presentation, and stock levels
* Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed at all times
* Coordinate daily tasks to meet order deadlines and productivity targets
* Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems
* Train new staff on procedures, scanning systems, and quality standards
* Communicate effectively with management regarding workflow and issues
Skills and Experience
* Good computer skills, including basic data entry and system use
* Experience with handheld scanner guns or warehouse-style order picking systems is an advantage
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Attention to detail, especially regarding plant quality and order accuracy
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
