An opportunity has become available to join the Belford Hospital reception team on a bank basis covering annual and sick leave.
Responsibilities
* Operation of a Digital Telephone Switchboard providing first line communication to the general public presenting a polite and helpful manner.
* Welcome visitors to the hospital and assist with enquiries promptly and politely, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality.
* Carry out laid down procedures covering call out of on call personnel, alarm activations and emergency calls and must demonstrate the ability to deal with these in a calm, composed manner.
* Frank outgoing post and process incoming post.
Qualifications
Applicants will ideally have a good knowledge of telephone operating services and demonstrate a basic understanding of computer technology with experience of using e‑mail and Microsoft office suite. The successful candidate should demonstrate a good standard level of education, be able to work as part of a small team and as a lone worker.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
