Private Client Secretary, Somerset, £24,000+ (DOE)
THE ROLE
You will provide vital administrative and secretarial support to a team of Private Client solicitors, ensuring the smooth running of the department. Duties include:
* Preparing legal documents and correspondence
* Managing diaries and client files
* Liaising with clients and external parties
* Assisting with probate applications and powers of attorney
* Supporting billing and case management
* Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
THE CANDIDATE
You will have at least one year's experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Private Client or Wills & Probate department. Additional qualifications:
* Good understanding of private client work including wills, probate, trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Excellent organisational and document production skills with strong attention to detail
* Confident interpersonal abilities and a professional, empathetic approach when dealing with clients
* Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
