At Randstad Education, we are working closely with a number of nurseries across South Manchester and are looking for qualified nursery practitioners, who have the understanding of working with children and young people with a good understanding of the EYFS and Child Protection/Safeguarding procedures.
The Nursery thrives on supporting children to reach their full potential. The nursery prides itself on providing a wonderful learning environment for both nursery practitioners and children. You will be joining a team very dedicated to providing the best opportunities for the pupils. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will both support and overlook the children with their learning, life skills and well-being as well as be a role model to the children in the nursery.
Responsibilities:

1. You will be supporting the teacher with lessons and behaviour management
2. You must safeguard children
3. You will create inviting activities for the children in your care
4. Teaching basic life skills to the children such as general hygiene and good manners
5. You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
6. You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children
Requirements:
7. An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
8. At least 6 months experience working with children
9. Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
10. A true passion to work with children
11. Able to display sensitivity and patience
12. Good knowledge of EYFS.
