Your Role:
As a Neighbourhood Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and health of our neighbourhoods. Your daily tasks will include:
Street Cleansing & Maintenance:
- Manually sweep and collect litter from highways and open spaces.- Remove fly-tipped waste and sharps, ensuring a safe environment for all.- Clean up animal faeces and accident debris from roads. Grounds Maintenance:
- Care for shrubs and flower beds, including pruning and grass cutting.- Empty and clean dog and litter bins to keep our parks pristine.- Conduct leaf clearance and maintain playground areas and street furniture.- Provide exceptional service to our residents, responding to their needs and feedback.- Complete worksheets accurately to track your work and progress.
Additional Responsibilities: - Perform winter gritting of footpath areas.- Occasionally assist with the waste management section as needed.
