We have a Facilities Assistant role to join our team based at Lewes - Lewes Victoria Hospital
1. £12.62 per hour, £24,681 per annum, pro-rata
2. 20 hours per week
3. 6pm – 10pm Monday to Friday
4. DBS check will be conducted, training will be providing
5. A driving licence is desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and well‑run environment across the site, carrying out a wide range of cleaning duties in line with NHS National Cleaning Standards, COSHH and NHS Property Services procedures. Tasks include general and deep cleaning, waste disposal, replenishing consumables, and completing legionella flushing. The role also supports basic catering duties such as preparing food and drinks safely, following hygiene standards and correct stock rotation. The Facilities Assistant operates equipment safely, reports faults, may assist with portering tasks, and ensures areas are secured when required. Working collaboratively with clinical teams, following policies, and supporting new staff are also essential parts of the role.
