Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. Responsibilities
* Supervise daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Lead and manage the team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards.
* Conduct training for new staff members in culinary techniques, serving practices, and hospitality protocols.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Implement health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Assist in menu planning and development, contributing culinary expertise to enhance offerings.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations.
* Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
* Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
* Experience working in restaurants, hotels or similar establishments would be beneficial.
