Continuous Improvement Engineer
Bristol (Hybrid)
£55000 - £60000 + bonus and benefits
We're working with a global engineering and manufacturing business seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across its UK site in Bristol.
This is a hands-on role focused on embedding Lean and Six Sigma principles, delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
You'll lead improvement initiatives across the business - training teams, coaching stakeholders, and implementing standardised processes. Working cross-functionally, you'll facilitate problem-solving sessions, drive root cause analysis, and ensure continuous improvement becomes part of the wider culture.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver Lean Six Sigma training and mentor teams at all levels
Lead CI projects to reduce waste and improve operational performance
Define and maintain process standards and best practices
Facilitate structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
Track KPIs and report on improvement outcomes
Engage with global CI forums and initiatives
Experience required:
Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum)
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments
Proactive, self-starting approach with strong analytical capability
Solid IT skills, particularly across MS Office
