We're partnering with a hugely exciting, well-backed start-up operating at the intersection of AI, technology and content.

They're looking for a commercially minded Business Analyst to become the go-to person for insight, analysis and performance reporting across the business.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days producing reports that nobody reads.

This is about helping leadership understand what's happening, why it's happening and what they should do next.

You'll be working with data one minute, building commercial models the next, then presenting your findings to senior leadership.

About this business

This is a business with huge ambition and significant backing. It's also very early in its journey.

The team is around 30 people and the business is growing quickly. Processes are still being built, structures are evolving and priorities can change fast. For the right person, that's the exciting bit.

You'll have a genuine opportunity to help shape how the business operates and how decisions are made.

You'll work closely with senior leadership on a daily basis, regularly supporting the Board and interacting with investors and key stakeholders.

The business is investing heavily in AI, technology and innovation, operating in a sector that's changing rapidly and creating some fascinating commercial challenges along the way.

The role

This is a broad commercial role with plenty of variety.

You'll become the central analytical capability within the business, helping shape decisions through data and insight.

You'll analyse customer behaviour, commercial performance and operational trends. You'll build dashboards, reports and models that help the business understand where it's succeeding and where it can improve.

You'll support budgeting, forecasting and cost management, whilst also helping evaluate new opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Most importantly, you'll help turn data into actions.

What you'll be doing

• You'll build and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards and performance metrics across the business.
• You'll analyse customer behaviour, platform performance and commercial trends, identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive growth.
• You'll support budgeting, forecasting and financial control, whilst building business cases and commercial models to support decision making.
• You'll work closely with technology, commercial and operational teams, translating complex data into clear recommendations that senior stakeholders can act on.
• You'll also help shape how the business measures success, improving reporting processes and introducing new ways of analysing performance as the organisation grows.

About you

• You'll likely have experience as a Business Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Commercial Finance Analyst.
• You'll be advanced in Excel and genuinely enjoy working with data.
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools would be helpful, but your ability to interpret data and tell the story behind the numbers is more important.
• You'll be commercially minded, naturally curious and comfortable working in an environment where not everything is defined.
• Most of all, you'll enjoy figuring things out.
