You will be joining a collaborative team, working with experienced property, asset, and facilities management professionals, and contributing to the management of a large and diverse estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage the day‑to‑day operations of a commercial property portfolio.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure accurate lease data is maintained.
- Identify asset management opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
- Plan ahead for key lease events including reviews, expiries, and break clauses.
- Build strong relationships with tenants and respond to queries efficiently.
- Manage dilapidations, licences to alter, assignments, and related matters.
- Prepare and reconcile service charge budgets in line with RICS guidelines.
- Monitor service charge expenditure and work closely with facilities teams.
- Liaise with finance to ensure timely rent collection and debt management.
- Ensure buildings are well maintained and compliant with health and safety requirements.
- Support insurance matters, claims, and risk management processes.
- Oversee refurbishments, minor works, and tenant handovers.
- Collaborate with asset management and development teams on new build handovers.
Person Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial property management.
- Strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation.
- Experience preparing and managing service charge budgets (essential).
- MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel; experience with Qube is advantageous.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
