Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting a leading UK organisation in the search for an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in regulated environments and is looking to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal period of technological change.
About the Role
As the IT Procurement Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement activity across a broad range of IT categories. Working closely with senior leaders, project teams, and key suppliers, you will deliver commercially robust solutions, negotiate strategically, and support major digital transformation initiatives. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote working combined with on-site collaboration within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead procurement activity for IT products, services, software, cloud solutions, and consultancy
* Manage tendering processes, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract awards
* Drive cost optimisation and ensure value for money across all IT spend
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring ongoing performance and compliance
* Provide expert guidance on contractual and commercial matters, particularly in regulated environments
* Support broader procurement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement across processes and governance
About You
* Proven experience in IT procurement within a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, utilities, healthcare, telecoms, public sector)
* Strong understanding of commercial and contractual principles
* Skilled in leading competitive procurement processes and negotiating high-value contracts
* Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence at all levels
* Confident working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
