Job Title: Vocational Pathway Manager
Pay Rate: £140.43 - £166.78
Location: Sandwell
Hours: 37hrs per week, Term Time plus 5 days
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Vocational Pathway Manager. This exciting role focuses on leading post-16 progression, careers education, and vocational opportunities for students aged 14–16. This is a PRU setting.
Working closely the School and other local partners, you will play a key role in supporting students—particularly those at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training)—to secure meaningful work experience and successful education or employment pathways.

Job Requirements for this Vocational Pathway Manager role in Birmingham:
Experience in careers guidance, vocational education, or post-16 pathways
Proven ability to engage and support young people aged 14–16
Strong organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of NEET prevention strategies and employer engagement
A passion for improving outcomes and life chances for young people
