We are looking for a full-time fun, friendly, efficient sales assistant for our busy, independent Garden Centre.
This opportunity focuses on all aspects of retail sales.
About the role
* Working as part of our team to maximise sales and service.
* Operating the tills, taking cash and card payments as and when required.
* Assisting in accurately checking off deliveries and following company procedures relating to stock ready to sell.
* Pricing stock.
* Ensuring stock rotation control in place.
* Use of the EPOS system, RF scanners and label printer as directed.
* Keeping up to date with system changes, updates and new processes as directed.
* Building a good knowledge of the wide range of products within the Garden Centre.
* Adhering to Health and Safety policy and working safety practices at all times.
* Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and high standards of the Garden Centre.

This is a full-time role. Working 40 hours a week, flexibly, between 7.30am and 5.30pm and will include alternate weekend working.
