Purchasing Administrator - Up to £28,000
Location: Leigh, WN7
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday (7:30-15:30 or 8:00-16:00)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support our clients operations. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining efficient material administration and supporting the smooth running of their supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the procurement of materials and supplies required for operations.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and other important data.
Monitor stock levels and support inventory management by placing orders as needed.
Work with the logistics team to optimize supply chain processes.
Prepare reports and provide insights to improve purchasing strategies.
Requirements:
Experience in purchasing, materials administration, or logistics.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
