About the role:
As part of our maintenance team, you will help ensure our hotel facilities, guest rooms, public areas, and gardens are kept in excellent condition. From day-to-day repairs to outdoor upkeep, your work will help provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and welcoming stay.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel.
* Assist with plumbing, electrical, painting, decorating, and general upkeep.
* Help with maintaining the gardens and outdoor areas, ensuring they are tidy and attractive for guests.
* Respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
* Support with planned preventative maintenance schedules.
* Ensure health & safety standards are always met.
About You
* Previous experience in maintenance, gardening, or a trade background is desirable.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repair skills.
* Enjoys practical, hands-on work both indoors and outdoors.
* Reliable, flexible, and a good team player.
* Committed to providing excellent service and standards.
* To ensure that all standards are maintained on regular basis.
* General grounds maintenance, ensuring the garden / grounds are in good condition.
* Keeping shrubbery, flower beds and lawn in a good condition
* Ensuring the plants pots and beds are maintained to reflect the seasons.
* Lawn care, strimming, edge cutting, weeding, planting etc.
* Keeping the car park and driveways in a clean and tidy condition
* Taking care of equipment and reporting faults
* Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required.
Hours of work: We are looking for someone to work Full-time 5 days over a 7-day week,
You will be expected to work at times in emergencies.
Rate of Pay: Depending on experience and qualification.
