Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £90 – £110 per day
Contract Type: Part-time | Day-to-Day

GSL Education is currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to work in secondary schools across Scunthorpe during exam periods. This role is ideal for individuals seeking short-term or occasional work, including retirees, graduates, university students, or anyone with daytime availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare examination rooms according to school and exam board regulations
* Supervise students during exams, ensuring rules are followed at all times
* Distribute and collect exam papers and materials efficiently
* Report any incidents or irregularities in line with school procedures
* Provide a calm, professional, and reassuring presence for students
Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
* Good communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and observant in a quiet environment
* Previous experience in schools is desirable but not essential (training provided)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
This role is particularly suitable for candidates looking for additional income, with work typically available for 20–30 days across the academic year, depending on exam schedules.
