Job Introduction:
Our Fundraising team is responsible for generating funds to support organisational running costs and special projects.
We aim to diversify our funding streams and grow our income to meet increasing demand across Wales. The Regional Fundraiser (North Wales) plays a key role in this effort.
Working closely with local and national colleagues, this role supports the delivery of the Fundraising and Income Generation Strategy across the region, securing income from various sources to enable Shelter Cymru to fulfill its strategic priorities and support people in housing need in Wales.
The Regional Fundraiser supports local community fundraising activities, connecting communities to our work through collaboration with service delivery colleagues and community groups.
Our Fundraising team is high-performing and values-driven, generating income to support our mission in Wales. We are expanding our team, and this is one of three current opportunities. If you’re passionate about making an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Time off and Benefits:
* 29 days annual leave plus 2 Shelter Cymru days and public holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff).
* Paid Carers and Compassionate leave.
* 35-hour workweek for full-time employees.
* Hybrid working: Minimum of 1 day per week in the office, with offices across Wales (Cardiff, Swansea, Rhyl, Felinheli, Wrexham).
* Workplace counselling: Access to peer support, reflective groups, and 121 sessions.
* Employee Assistance Programme: Support for personal issues affecting health and wellbeing.
* Shelter Cymru offers a contributory pension scheme (employer contribution 4%, employee 5%).
* Non-contributory group life assurance (up to twice annual salary).
* Enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental, and adoption pay.
