More information:
We are keen to recruit a passionate, prayerful, and envisioned Worship Pastor to lead and develop the sung worship at St Peter’s, Notting Hill. This person will have enthusiasm in worship, experience of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and a passion for Jesus Christ and His church.
St Peter’s is a vibrant and growing charismatic evangelical Church of England church in Notting Hill with approximately 180 adults and 30 children (mostly babies & toddlers), and a Sunday congregation of around 120 adults and 20 children. Services are at 10:30 am and 6 pm on Sundays.
Our worship style is mainly contemporary (e.g., Hillsong, Sovereign Grace Music, Worship Central, Elevation Worship), with some traditional hymns played in a contemporary style. We value freedom in worship and seek God's presence, creating space for the Holy Spirit to move.
The worship band is thriving, with a dedicated team of singers and instrumentalists. There is also a separate AV team overseen by the Worship Pastor.
ROLES ON OFFER
We offer three options for the Worship Pastor role, each with different hours and responsibilities:
* Part-time – 2 or 3 days a week
* Full-time – Worship Pastor & Social Media Lead
* Full-time – Worship Pastor & Evening Service Pastor
Details are on our website: https://www.stpetersnottinghill.org.uk/jobs
There is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 that the postholder be a committed Christian with a living faith, aligned with the vision and values of St Peter’s, including agreement with the CEEC Basis of Faith and the two additional declarations.
The Diocese of London is committed to diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from those with relevant skills to increase representation of under-represented groups, including those of Global Majority Heritage, women, and disabled individuals.
