Job: Legal Cashier Location: Essex Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 Benefits About the Role: We’re looking for a Legal Cashier to join a busy and supportive finance team. This role offers the chance to work within a respected law firm where your contribution will directly support the smooth running of the practice. What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll handle a variety of finance tasks, such as: Processing client and office account transactions (BACs, TTs, cheques, and direct debits) Preparing and distributing daily bank statements to fee earners Reconciling petty cash and other accounts Supporting credit control by producing monthly statements Assisting with purchase ledger work and month-end processes Managing billing and invoice records What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a Legal Cashier or legal accounts role Strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Attention to detail and excellent organisational ability A proactive, team-oriented approach with the ability to work to deadlines
