What You Will Be Doing
You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Systems Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following:
* The development of Software Defined Radio (SDR) solutions for modems, with systems engineering tasks for the development of military satellite communications equipment, including definition of system architecture to meet requirements, interface specifications, and development of verification plans.
* Planning, implementation, and deployment of solutions created by the team.
* As you advance, knowledge of tools and technologies will be developed, including Matlab (e.g., modelling of waveforms), Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for analysis, modification and synthesis of signals, Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence) for agile development, PTC Windchill for configuration management, Enterprise Architect and/or DOORS for managing system architecture and requirements, and Microsoft Office applications.
Enrolled graduates will learn about systems development, project planning and implementation, change management, the software lifecycle, and more. The programme includes a minimum of one rotational placement across departments that interface with engineering (e.g., Quality, PMO, Procurement, Commodities, Configuration Management, Commercial).
Throughout the two-year development programme you will be developed into the position of Systems Engineer.
What We Are Looking For
To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:
* A degree level or equivalent in a relevant field of study
* Recently graduated or first professional experience in a matching or related engineering discipline (e.g., software, mechanical, RF or systems engineering)
* Strong verbal and written communication in English
* A desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation
* The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development
