Bodyshop Manager – Portsmouth
£55,000 Basic | £75,000 OTE | Monday–Friday | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
A respected and thriving automotive bodyshop in the New Malden area is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Manager to take charge of their workshop operations and lead a dedicated team.

About the Role
You will oversee the full day‑to‑day running of a busy workshop. Managing a great team thats very settled, you’ll ensure that work is delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality.
Your role will include workflow coordination, staff support and motivation, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of the bodyshop
* Lead, support, and develop a team of approximately 12 staff
* Ensure consistent throughput of 8–10 vehicles per day
* Maintain exceptional repair standards and workshop productivity
* Oversee job scheduling, workflow, and workshop performance
* Encourage a strong team culture and high morale
* Ensure all processes, compliance, and health & safety standards are met
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bodyshop leadership and a solid understanding of workshop processes.
You should bring:
* Previous experience as a Bodyshop Manager or Assistant Bodyshop Manager
* Confident leadership and strong team‑management skills
* Excellent organisational and workflow planning abilities
* A proactive, hands‑on management style
* A commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
What’s on Offer
* £55,000 basic salary
* OTE up to £75,000
* Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (with some flexibility)
* 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
