Location:

The Wilmslow Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK


Shift Times:

Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm


Contract Type:

Full-Time Permanent


Salary:

Competitive (dependent on skills & experience) plus attractive benefits package.


About the Role:

Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for urgent care or emergency medicine? HCA Healthcare UK is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new Urgent Care Centre at The Wilmslow Hospital. We are looking for a Senior Staff Nurse (band 6) to join our team and help shape the future of patient care in this state‑of‑the‑art facility.

As part of our exciting expansion, we are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our team in the new Urgent Care Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the ground up, working alongside a passionate and dynamic team and team lead who will guide and mentor you through this exciting new venture.

You will be an integral part of delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care for a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses, providing triage, assessment, treatment, and support for patients in a busy, fast‑paced environment. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you’ll have the support and resources to offer the best care possible.

Wilmslow Hospital is rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and is dedicated to delivering world‑class healthcare. The hospital is equipped with the latest cutting‑edge technology and packed with a team of experienced nurses and consultants – all working in a vibrant, modern setting that puts patients and colleagues at ease.


What You’ll Bring:

* Registered Adult Nurse (NMC)
* Experience in Urgent Care, Accident & Emergency, or a similar setting
* Strong clinical skills, including triage, blood draws, IV insertion and POP application
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A passion for delivering high standards of patient care in a collaborative setting
