OurClient are in unique position as we look to expand and grow theirParts Team. We re looking for a Parts Advisor who is passionateabout customer service and wants to work with one of the worldsmost prestigious and technologically advanced car manufacturers andforwardthinking automotiveretailers.
Asa Parts Advisor you will play a vital role in the daily running ofthe parts department communicating effectively between customersand staff to ensure the correct part is supplied in a timelymanner. You will be a team player with a commitment to learning anddevelopment within the parts department. You must also have theability to work well on your own and under pressure to deliver anexcellent customer experience. Experience of working in awarehouse/Trade s environment or retail experience dealing withcustomers internal/external is highlydesirable.
RoleandResponsibilities:
* Identifyand sell parts profitably helping to achieve or exceed the businessplan for the PartsDepartment.
* Sellparts and receive payment applying appropriate discount wherenecessary.
* Ensureall customers are dealt with promptly andcourteously.
* Ensurecommitments made to customers are delivered in a friendlymanner.
* Identifyexact details of the parts required obtaining vehicle details fromthecustomer.
* Loadthe correct parts if in stock or offer to order the parts for thecustomer
* Locateparts in the appropriate binlocation.
* Identifyfrom job cards those parts that need to be ordered in advance ofservice andrepair.
* Sourceor place orders for partsrequired.
* Selectparts as required for trade and workshopcustomers.
* Preselectparts for workshop customers to aid workshopefficiency.
* Processorders (stock warranty & VOR) in accordance with customerrequirements.
* Checkdeliveries against all orders log any discrepancies and book partsin and out ofstock.
* Checkparts invoices to ensure all item invoices are accountedfor.
Requirements
TheIdeal CandidateWill:
* Previousexperience working in a Parts department is highlydesirable
* Excellentcustomer serviceskills.
* Abilityto build relationships both internally andexternally.
* Excellentcommunication skills both verbally andwritten
