Overview
Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon (with interest in Breast Microsurgery & Lower Limb Trauma) position at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is a full-time locum post for 12 months with the potential to be converted and re-advertised as a substantive post in the future.
The post holder will be able to support provision of clinical services in our expanding Breast microsurgical reconstruction and Orthoplastic services. In addition, support of the skin cancer service in an affiliated Trust will also form part of the role. The elective Plastic Surgery services including the Breast microsurgery service are based at the City Hospital Campus and the Orthoplastic Service is based at the Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC) Campus of NUH NHS Trust. The skin cancer programmed activities are delivered in Ilkeston Community Hospital (Derbyshire) as part of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities
* Support provision of clinical services in the expanding Breast microsurgical reconstruction and Orthoplastic services.
* Support the skin cancer service in an affiliated Trust as part of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Deliver care across the Elective Plastic Surgery services including Breast microsurgery; coordinate with City Hospital Campus and QMC Campus locations.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience as a Plastic Surgeon with a particular interest in Breast Microsurgery and Lower Limb Trauma.
* Ability to work across multiple campuses and collaborate within SLAs with affiliated trusts.
