A well-established materials handling specialist is expanding its service team and is looking for a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair forklift trucks across customer sites.

The Role
You'll be responsible for keeping customers' forklift trucks operating safely and efficiently, carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on-site.
Your duties will include:
Planned servicing and preventative maintenance on forklift trucks
Fault finding and diagnostics on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs at customer sites
Completing inspection and service reports
Ensuring equipment meets safety and compliance standards
Building strong relationships with customers while representing the business professionally
The company supports customers with sales, hire, servicing and repair of diesel, electric and LPG forklift trucks, meaning you'll see a wide range of equipment and technical challenges.
What We're Looking For
Experience working on forklifts, plant, HGVs, agricultural or similar machinery
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently in a mobile field service role
Full UK driving licence
A proactive engineer who takes pride in delivering quality work
