We’re recruiting a Service Controller to join a leading special‑purpose vehicle company at their busy Leeds operation. About the RoleAs a Service Controller, you’ll act as the main link between customers, engineers, and internal teams. You will take ownership of service requests from start to finish, ensuring smooth coordination, accurate planning, and exceptional service delivery. This role suits someone who thrives in a structured, hands‑on environment and enjoys juggling multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Handle, log, and manage all customer service requests from initial enquiry to completion
Plan and schedule daily workloads for engineers
Create job cards, raise system notifications, and order required parts
Maintain contract maintenance schedules and update service planners
Process job sheets accurately and conduct follow‑up calls
Communicate professionally with customers, engineers, and internal teams
Support onsite meetings and maintain Health & Safety standardsWorking Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:45pm
(45‑minute unpaid break per day)What We’re Looking For
Experience in service coordination, scheduling, or a Service Controller type role
Background in automotive, engineering, or related technical sectors (beneficial)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving ability
Experience with SAP or similar systems (preferred)What’s in It for You?
