We are supporting a Primary school in Nottingham that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team full-time. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support learning in and out of the classroom. Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and self-esteem. Provide personal care, including toileting, changing, and other hygiene-related tasks, with dignity and sensitivity. Support the pupil during break/lunch times and during transitions throughout the day. Liaise effectively with teachers, parents/carers, and external professionals. Encourage inclusion and promote positive behaviour and social interaction.Essential Criteria: Experience working with children, particularly those with additional needs. A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach. Willingness and ability to provide personal care. Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent). Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.Desirable: Experience in an SEN setting or supporting children with EHCPs. Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or equivalent. First Aid or Manual Handling training.
