Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cardboard Engineer, located in Dartford. The Cardboard Engineer will design and develop creative packaging and structural cardboard solutions to meet client specifications. Responsibilities include interpreting client requirements, creating prototypes, ensuring product quality, optimizing material usage, and collaborating with the design and production teams. Additionally, this role involves staying updated on industry trends and sustainability practices to deliver innovative and eco-friendly solutions.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in designing and developing cardboard structures and packaging
* Experience with creative design, prototyping, and production processes
* Knowledge of materials engineering and sustainability principles
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize material susage
* Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
* Attention to detail and commitment to product quality
* Background or formal education in industrial design, engineering, or a related field
* Proficiency with industry-specific design software is a plus
