Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially focused Management Accountant to join their finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, influencing decision-making, and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic business. Management Accountant Permanent Full Time Hours £40-47,000 Based in Wetherby Your new role Reporting into the Finance Leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, business insight, and operational support across the site. Responsibilities will include: Producing monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet reporting Delivering insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making Supporting annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Monitoring financial performance against budget and analysing variances Driving cost control initiatives across operational departments Supporting stock counts and inventory management processes Ensuring accurate stock valuation and reconciliation Assisting with internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements Partnering with operational managers to improve business performance Identifying opportunities for process and system improvements What you'll need to succeed We are looking for a motivated and proactive finance professional who thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment with the following skills and experience: Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA status Previous experience within a manufacturing environment Experience producing monthly accounts to tight deadlines Strong ERP systems experience Advanced Excel skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Highly organised and detail-focused Commercially minded with strong analytical skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset A collaborative and approachable team player What you'll get in return This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business that genuinely invests in its people and encourages professional development.
