The Role and School
A large, highly regarded SEND school based in Wigan is looking to appoint a passionate Learning Support Assistant to work in a small class of children with special educational needs. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will have a caring and patient manner and will be expected to meet the needs of pupils with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties. The school offers a supportive and welcoming team and excellent facilities designed to provide pupils with the best possible experience of education.
Requirements
* Have relevant experience of working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
* Be resilient and able to meet the demands of a special school setting.
* Understand the needs of students with learning difficulties. Be reliable in both attendance and punctuality.
