We currently have a temporary Site Administrator role available with Holcim Hill Quarry. This role is ideal
for someone with previous admin and purchasing experience
Role: Site Administrator
Shifts: Flexible in terms or hours and days, you can choose which suits, but must be a minimum of 4
days and 20hrs between 7am and 5pm
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Holcim, Hillhead Quarry, Clay Lane, Uffculme, Devon, EX15 3EP.
Main tasks include
● Creating and amending purchase orders for suppliers as requested by site management
● Ensure that orders are received when goods / services have been supplied
● Ensuring that site records are accurate and up to date
● Liaising with suppliers to resolves any invoice queries
● Liaising with the site management team to ensure that adequate supplies of consumables are
maintained
● Greeting and welcoming visitors to the site
● Assisting with the induction of contractors as required
● Answering the telephones and passing on messages in a professional manner
● Completing inspections of equipment and supplies (i.e. spill kits, first aid kits, fire alarms etc.) as
directed by the Assistant Quarry Manager
● Recording holiday requests and instances of sickness / absence
● Providing weighbridge cover / support as required
● Managing inbound and outbound postage / deliveries
Requirements
● Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Google suite & Microsoft Office suite
● Flexible and adaptable attitude with ability to prioritise a range of different tasks.
● Willing to embrace change.

● Excellent organisational and time management skills.
● Excellent interpersonal skills with other members of staff at all levels of the organisation.
