ROLE TITLE: Tester
LOCATION: Leicester, London or Manchester
The ideal candidate will have active SC Clearance or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.

Job Purpose/The Role:
This role is part of a high‑profile national transformation initiative, working within an experienced delivery team to support and enhance the testing of a major central government application
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Support a high‑profile national transformation programme by contributing to the testing of a major central government application.
2. Collaborate with business analysts to understand, interpret, and validate user and system requirements.
3. Develop clear, detailed, and accurate test scenarios aligned to functional and non‑functional requirements.
4. Execute test cases to verify system behaviour, performance, and overall quality.
5. Document test outcomes, identify defects, and track issues through to resolution.
6. Work closely with the delivery team to improve and refine testing processes and practices.
7. Ensure that all testing activities contribute to the delivery of a robust, reliable, and high‑quality mission‑critical system.
Your Skills:
8. Minimum 5 years UK residency
9. Preferable experience in Performance Testing
10. Experience using Cucumber for automation
11. Proficiency in Java
12. Working knowledge of JIRA
13. Familiarity with Confluence
