Join DCS Group as our next Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) and play a pivotal role in driving our sales and margin growth across leading UK customers.
Were looking for a commercially minded, results-driven account manager who can lead customer strategy, negotiate with impact, and unlock category growth opportunities across both branded and private label portfolios.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-profile role with P&L ownership, strategic influence, and people leadership responsibility .
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the customer strategy for key accounts building JBPs and unlocking profitable growth.
* Deliver supplier objectives in line with joint business plans.
* Lead collaborative volume and value forecasting with accuracy and consistency.
* Manage all aspects of the customer P&L including supplier investment, rebates, accruals, ROI, and financial modelling.
* Influence range, distribution, and promotional strategies, driving share gains across categories.
* Monitor and analyse EPOS data and competitor intelligence, producing actionable insights.
* Develop strong relationships across customer buying, category, supply chain, operations, and finance teams .
* Coach and develop a Key Account Executive or National Account Manager into a high-performing team member (where applicable).
* Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for medicines and medical devices.
Experience & Skills:
* Proven track record in National Account Management within FMCG, retail, or related industries.
* Results-focused with strong commercial awareness and P&L ownership .
* Advanced negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent communicator with strong presentation and meeting leadership skills.
* Category management, forecasting and data analysis expertise.
* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and business reporting.
* Experience in developing leadership and coaching direct reports desirable.
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English as a minimum.
