Role Overview: Year 1 Class Teacher
1. Teach within a supportive and imaginative Key Stage 1 team
2. Create stimulating, well-structured lessons that nurture children’s early learning
3. Support pupils who are eager to learn and display consistently positive behaviour
4. Play an active role in maintaining our school’s inclusive, caring, and aspirational ethos
5. Benefit from high-quality training and ongoing professional development
6. Collaborate closely with the KS1 team to plan, reflect, and share great practice
Who We Are Looking For
7. A qualified teacher with QTS
8. Experience teaching in KS1, or strong experience from a placement in early primary
9. Someone who fosters a warm, inclusive learning environment where children feel safe and encouraged
10. A reflective, energetic educator committed to raising achievement
11. A team-focused professional with excellent communication skills and a positive approach to working with families
12. A creative practitioner with solid subject knowledge and a child-centered mindset
