Neston - Monday to Friday 12:30-3:30 with a possible extra hour one day per doing a sports after school club
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide support across EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2, including working 1:1 with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The role will involve a mixture of general classroom support and targeted 1:1 support, as well as assisting during lunchtime activities. You will be working alongside a class teacher and other support staff, with a structured timetable to ensure children receive the right level of support throughout the day.
Consistency is important for this role, so we are looking for someone reliable who can become a familiar and trusted adult within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Year 1 and Year 2 in the classroom
* Provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs in line with their EHCP
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging learning activities
* Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
* Support children with their communication, social skills and emotional regulation
* Encourage independence and confidence in learning
* Work closely with teachers, SENCO and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs
* Supervise pupils during activities, transitions and playtimes where required
* Contribute to the monitoring and recording of progress and development
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with young children, ideally in EYFS or Key Stage 1
* Has an understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and supporting children with EHCPs
* Is patient, kind and able to build positive relationships with children
* Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and parents
* Is proactive, flexible and committed to supporting every child's success
* Holds a relevant TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
