We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our friendly team at Elmley on a part-time permanent basis.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a unique setting within one of the UK’s most beautiful nature reserves, where sustainability and luxury go hand in hand. You’ll be part of a passionate and welcoming team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
This is a busy, hands-on hospitality position working alongside our housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our guest accommodation, including Shepherd’s huts, houses and Summer bell tents (https://www.elmleynaturereserve.co.uk/stay).
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing accommodation between guest stays to a high standard and within required timeframes.
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation across shared guest areas.
* Ensuring linen, cleaning products and housekeeping supplies are well stocked and organised.
* Supporting the wider team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
About You:
We are looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience and a strong eye for detail, who also has:
* High personal standards and attention to detail.
* The ability to manage time efficiently.
* Confidence working independently as well as within a team.
* A friendly and welcoming approach.
* Physical ability to lift and transport supplies when required.
* A love of the outdoors and appreciation for nature.
Position Details:
* Contract: Part-time permanent.
* Hours: Typically between 9:00am – 4:00pm, flexible hours including weekdays and weekends as posted by the rota.
* Pay: Hourly wage.
* Due to the rural location, own transport is required.
