Outstanding primary schools across Leeds are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistants to join their teams. Your Role
As a Classroom Assistant, you will:
1. Support class teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
2. Assist with creative lesson delivery across a range of age groups and abilities
3. Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support
4. Use positive behaviour management strategies to promote pupil wellbeing
5. Contribute to safeguarding and the overall welfare of the school community
6. Help ensure every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed
What We’re Looking For
7. Experience supporting children (school-based experience desirable)
8. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
9. A genuine passion for helping young learners thrive
10. A clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (support provided)
11. Full eligibility to work in the UK
