To help us continue our mission, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior/Master Vehicle Technician to join our team.
*Role Overview:*
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing vehicle repair, and assisting to lead a team of technicians. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vehicle maintenance and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Working hours are 8am - 5pm (Mon-Fri) with overtime available at time + 1/2 outside of these hours and on Saturdays.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct diagnostics and carry out repairs on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
* Supervise and mentor other technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the team performs at its best.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
* Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair requirements and offering advice on vehicle maintenance.
* Maintain accurate records of all work completed, adhering to company and industry standards.
* Ensure the workshop is clean, safe, and organized at all times.
*Qualifications & Experience:*
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in vehicle servicing and repair.
* Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern automotive systems.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* A full, valid driving license.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive attitude and a passion for automotive engineering.
