We are looking to recruit a Quality Coordinator, to support the Quality Department in maintaining and improving standards of product quality across our manufacturing operations. This role will provide accurate administrative support, manage quality documentation and coordinate inspections and audits.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
1. Maintain and control quality documentation, including procedures, inspection records and reports.
2. Ensure all quality records are accurate, up to date and stored in line with company requirements.
3. Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
Data Management & Reporting
4. Collect, input and analyse quality data from production and inspection teams.
5. Produce regular quality performance reports (KPIs, defect trends, non-conformance reports).
6. Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
7. Maintain customer complaint logs and support investigation processes.
Compliance & Audits
8. Assist with internal quality audits and follow-up actions.
9. Ensure non-conformance reports are logged and managed effectively.
10. Coordinate calibration records where required.
Essential Criteria
· Previous experience within an administrative role (in a quality or manufacturing environment would be desirable).
· Strong organisational and document control skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· I.T. Literate - Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Good, Clear Communication Skills (written & verbal).
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
· Be proactive and solutions focused.
Desirable Criteria
· Thorough understanding of current BS EN ISO 9001 specification requirements
· Experience working within a Quality Management System.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
· Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies & techniques such as FMEA, SPC/Capability Studies, Total Quality/Kaizen Tools, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, Poke Yoke, RCA.
