Menswear Streetwear Designer Wanted
Location: Manchester (On-site)
Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) + Benefits
We’re seeking a talented and experienced Menswear Streetwear Designer to join our in-house design team at a leading high street fashion company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual with a strong eye for trend-led menswear who lives and breathes streetwear culture and has a commercial portfolio that backs that up. You'll play a key role in shaping designs that resonate with the clients diverse customer base and reflects the latest in high street and streetwear trends.
What You’ll Do:
· Design commercially viable men's streetwear collections from concept to final product.
· Research and interpret seasonal trends, fabric innovations, and street culture influences.
· Collaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising, and technical teams to ensure design vision is translated into high-quality, market-ready product.
· Contribute to mood boards, trend reports, and CAD presentations.
· Maintain awareness of market competitors and identify opportunities for newness and differentiation.
· Attend fittings and work with factories and suppliers when necessary.
MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
· Solid and recent experience designing menswear with a streetwear handwriting but a high street fashion design background, not a personal or start up brand .
· A portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of streetwear aesthetics, fabric choice, garment construction, and commercial awareness.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), with excellent CAD and technical drawing skills.
· Strong knowledge of garment construction and the production process.
· A proactive attitude and passion for fashion, music, art, and culture that informs your creative work.
· Commutable to Manchester and Eligible to work in the UK
