The portfolio of services we offer includes an acute brain injury rehabilitation centre, specialist services hospitals, residential children’s homes, and specialist education schools teaching hundreds of students.
A Crafts team is responsible for the fitting of kitchens/bathrooms, maintenance of premises, minor projects within the site, and ensuring compliance needed for the operation of the site.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Ensure all parts of the environment are safe, welcoming, clean, hygienic, in good repair, and sensitive to the needs of the students.
* Maintain high standards of record keeping and reporting related to the site.
* Participate in and undertake regular audits of quality systems.
* Inspect and address works from contractors that fall below required standards.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant national regulations and inspection standards.
* Manage maintenance workloads proactively and effectively.
* Collaborate with the Regional Facilities Manager on larger projects and seek technical assistance as needed.
* Identify projects to improve the facility's image, functionality, and efficiency.
* Ensure timely project completion and leave areas in good condition after work.
* Maintain the grounds of the facility.
