Job Description:
Working as part of a team to drive walk-in horticultural machinery sales and promote the Tuckwell brand.
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, working every other Saturday morning on a rota basis.
With support from the team, responsibilities include:
* Facilitating and driving walk-in sales by advising on equipment options and suitability
* Preparing machinery specifications and pricing quotations
* Providing excellent customer experience in the showroom
* Executing all sales process steps to achieve high sales performance using available sales tools
* Maintaining current product knowledge on features and benefits of equipment, accessories, and attending relevant sales training
* Assisting with local and regional shows and events
* Monitoring competitor activity and communicating insights to sales management
* Coordinating goods delivery, demonstrations, and follow-ups
* Delivering excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
* Having horticultural/turf industry knowledge or interest is advantageous
* Understanding web sales promotion and dealing
* Driving seasonal promotions, advertising, and maintaining showroom pricing
* Developing showroom layouts and seasonal displays
* Ensuring accurate arrangements for deliveries and demonstrations
* Using CRM to log enquiries, opportunities, and contacts
