Geologist / Engineering Geologist – SOCOTEC UK & Ireland
Are you interested in geotechnical ground investigation for construction? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Geologist, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.
As our company grows and develops, we are expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Geologist to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for reliable, flexible and driven Geologists to join our Geotechnical Team. You will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance to be proactive and independent, while being a strong team player. Good management skills and a strong understanding of the industry are vital to succeed in this role.
The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
* Confident and knowledgeable of ground investigation techniques
* Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, and assist with managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment
* Responsible for the planning, supervision and programming of Ground Investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom
* Logging of soil and rock in accordance with the specification and BS5930:2015+A1:2020
Qualifications
* Qualified to degree level in a Geotechnical discipline
* Full UK Driving Licence
