Design Consultant (Kitchen Design) Location: Flexible working (remote with on-site visits required) Salary: £33,000 to £45,000 DOE bonuses/OTE Overview: We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK design house specialising in kitchen and bar design. The business is known for delivering innovative, operationally efficient and sustainable food and beverage solutions for high-profile projects and is now looking to expand its reach across wider markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a Foodservice Design Consultant with experience in catering equipment, foodservice or hospitality design to join a forward-thinking team. The role combines design expertise with client engagement and offers the chance to work on a range of unique and challenging projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the design of kitchens and bars using AutoCAD (Revit knowledge advantageous but not essential). Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, attend site visits and conduct surveys. Manage projects from concept through to completion, including workflow reviews, reporting and ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines. Liaise with manufacturers, dealers, and clients to resolve design challenges and ensure successful project delivery. Review compliance on designs prior to issue and ensure quality standards are met. Drive business growth by supporting new opportunities and helping expand beyond the stadia sector. Work closely with the design team, including graphics and BIM/Revit specialists, to deliver exceptional results. Candidate Profile: Proven background in foodservice, catering equipment, or hospitality design. Proficient in AutoCAD; strong understanding of commercial kitchen ergonomics and design principles. Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to lead client meetings and presentations. Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple projects at once. Innovative and creative, able to contribute new ideas and approaches. Flexible and collaborative, comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.
