29.6hours (22.2hrs substantively, with additional 7.4hrs Fixed Term until Nov 2027
We are looking for an experienced nurse, with the passion, vision and drive to professionally lead nursing into the future.
This is a highly regarded and dynamic nursing leadership post based within Argyll & Bute Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Highland, reporting to the Associate Nurse Director.
The post holder will work closely with nurse leadership colleagues from across NHS Highland, including the Deputy Director of Nursing, Board Nurse Director. Also working in partnership with senior operational managers, and clinical leads.
The Lead Nurse, will work under the direction of the Associate Nurse Director, taking responsibility for the standard of nursing practice across Community and Specialist Nursing and Advanced Practice.
Working across a range of hospital, community, social and domestic settings this post will have a particular focus on the provision of professional workforce standards, workforce reviews, clinical governance and patient safety, staff wellbeing, infection, prevention and control, and quality care.
A full current driving license is essential and access to a car. Willingness to travel across Argyll and Bute, including Islands is essential.
