Bank Nursery Practitioner (Zero Hours - Flexible Contract)

A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is required for this role.
Pay: £13.52 - £14.53 per Hour depending on experience plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Zero hour contract - flexibility to work varying shifts between 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
Location: Sunhill Montessori Nursery, Grantham Close, Royston, Hertfordshire, SG8 5WY
About the Nursery
Sunhill Day Nursery Royston is a bright, purpose-built, premium nursery offering Montessori, organic growing, and food and child-friendly cooking classes. The nursery has four rooms for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. It provides free on‑site parking and is within walking distance of the train station.
Responsibilities
* Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
* Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
* Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
* Support the day‑to‑day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
Requirements
Unsponsored role. Must have right to work in the UK. DBS checks, satisfactory references, and verification of relevant qualifications required.
