Description Suffolk Refugee Support – Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 3EP Evaluation and Programmes Manager £36,720 per annum 35 hours per week Full Time Permanent Reference: 0231 Required as soon as possible Suffolk Refugee Support aims to ensure that all asylum seekers and refugees in Suffolk can live integrated, fulfilled and contributing lives in their new communities. We provide a welcoming environment where clients can access help, advice, support, and practical services in order to be healthy and safe and begin to rebuild their lives. We currently deliver an Advice Service, an Employment Service, a Home Office Resettlement Support programme, ESOL classes, a Homework club, a Football group, Fitness and Health sessions, a Youth Club and trips for young clients, an International Women’s Group, a Sewing Group, one to one support, and financial and practical support for those in dire need. This new post will form a key function within the six-strong management team. The management team works in liaison with the Board of Trustees and is responsible for developing, delivering, evaluating and reporting all the activities and services needed to fulfil the aims of the charity. Working within this structure, the postholder will manage three of SRS’s programmes. Alongside managing their own areas of delivery within their programmes, a key focus of the role will be to assume the overall day to day responsibility for evaluating performance across all our services. They will ensure that we have robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms. You will be required to have an enhanced DBS check to be carried out upon commencement of employment and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
