Eden Scott Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be supporting a successful and friendly accountancy practice in Glasgow as they look to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for part‑qualified candidates seeking to develop their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.

You’ll be involved in:
* Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Assisting with corporation tax and VAT returns
* Supporting the completion of self‑assessment tax returns
* Reconciling accounts and assisting with balance sheet schedules
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships
* Supporting audit preparation and compliance requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
* Experience in accounts preparation within practice
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong analytical ability and problem‑solving skills
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work well with clients
* Solid IT literacy and comfort with finance systems
