We are looking for a creative and professionally curious Senior Social Worker to join ourOutstandingUnaccompanied Asylum Seeking team based in Eastbourne and across East Sussex.
Our UASC Through Care team works with young people aged 14 -25 who enter the UK as unaccompanied children seeking asylum. You’ll be building relationships with the young people to support them and promote their development, identity and wellbeing whilst working collaboratively with their carers and the professional network to progress individual Care Plans and Pathway Plans.Our seniors take on supervisory roles for unqualified staff, this is a excellent progression role for social workers with supervisory experience such as Practice Supervisors for students.
At ESCC we provide extensive support to our social workers and deliver high quality relationship-based practice to our children and families. As a senior social worker you’ll be expected to provide your practice manager with support and be seen as a senior member of the team.
